Black Fae Day, created by Jasmine La Fleur, is an annual event held the second Saturday of May to create more black representation in the fantasy scene. To celebrate, Urban Anime Lounge hosted its second #UALBlackfaeSlayChallenge from May 14 -21, 2022. Our members were tasked with creating fae or fantasy inspired looks that represented this year's theme of land vs. sea.
We had over 35 participants this year and we are proud to announce our three winners: Madamzeti, Hrs3play, and IndigoThunder_LionQueen. We always gift our winners with prizes from Black-owned companies. Prizes came from Juvia's Place and VonKreepArt.
